Music Background
Victor picked up his first pair of drumstick at the age of 18, as when he followed his brother and friends for a jamming session. With his ability to imitate drum beat from songs, he then joined a couple of group bands and performed for school and campus event. Realizing that he was lacking of technique, music theory, and consistency in his drumming, he then took a proper lesson where he learned how to read drum notations, and basic drumming techniques.
After his university graduation, he flew to Singapore to look for a job and started his career in finance while regularly performing in church. Feeling dissatisfied with his finance job, he then made a switch of his career to music teaching. He was employed by Cristofori Music School as a full time teacher in 2013, where he sent many students for competition, recital, and examination.
Besides playing for church, he’s been performing with various bands for various occasions such as: Rock Festival, Corporate event, Band Competition, Restaurant and Bar Gigs.
